PigPen

Remember the Peanuts character, PigPen?  He always enters the cartoon strip in a cloud of dust and grime.    Why is it said that the best indicator of future behaviour is past behaviour?  Could it not be that we often see others....bringing into the present moment the dust and grime of past hurts and behaviours?  Do we come into the relationship with our own dust cloud?  If we allow each moment to be new and fresh, clean and innocent....what happens.  Seeing each new moment with beginners eyes leaves us open to a fresh new experience.  PigPen is really kind of cute without the dirt!
